Or, rather, earth as we now know it. Post-panacea. After a "cleansing" tide named fondly by survivors as 'panacea,' humanity scrambled to drag their waterlogged half-dead selves out of the nuclear waters and onto land. Ah, brings back memories of being in the primordial soup. Here we are some 300 (give or take a few decades) years after the disaster and mankind has established footholds in the islands created by the high water. While you would think the last humans on earth could get along, you'll find just the opposite.
