Have you ever considered doing email marketing campaigns for your site? I work with several email marketing tools professionally and would love to hear more of people's thoughts. They're generally very effective when you have a completely opt-in member base, and are an amazing tool alongside social media to build hype.
This...this is an entirely foreign concept to me!!! How do you do an email marketing campaign??? Sorry for the ignorance, these are entirely new concepts to me, that I've either never tried before or have done and didn't realize what they are.
I saw, and liked, ActiveTrail but have not used it personally You would basically do an opt-in newsletter type of situation, where members can decide if they want your emails, sign up for it, and then you use that list to send out email blasts, reminders, campaigns on events on your site, so on. You probably get these all the time for other services you sign up for
