Resolved Question about "Nofollow" on Links

The reason why we disallow sites that have nofollow tags is because search engines will not pass along any page rank from them. It's a lot like RPGfix is linking to a black hole, so it ends up benefiting no one. :(

I'll try to find out more about Wikifoundry, but it's quite likely that they're automatically adding the nofollow attribute to your links. I'm not sure if they have a way to stop that from happening. I'll see what I can find out! In the meantime though, feel free to add your site to your signature and whatnot.

 

@LadyLilas Yeah, I looked into it and it seems as though they hardcode the nofollow attribute in an attempt to control link spam. Which is unfortunate, and a little odd since they also appear to manually screen sites as well.
