   Like the title says, I've placed your linkback button in my affiliates table on all pages (index included). I see no reason why your bot won't find it on its crawl, because it's, like, right there...
   
   The link is still visible and clickable, but I'm wondering whether the board wrappers are "swallowing" the link.

   Could you view the HTML source and see if the board is "swallowing" and/or mangling the URL after it's been saved? This has been known to happen before. There are also some hosting providers that will hijack links, rewrite URLs, and also add nofollow attributes. In all of those three scenarios, RPGfix will report a link not found.
