Before the Mast's November issue of the "Chronicles and Histories of the West Indies " is up, with news and gossips.

The site is officially six years and three months old. Warm thanks to all the crew, to everybody who has made it possible for our writing community to flourish and for the story to get further. Overall, in six years and three months of writing actively, we have written over 30,750 posts in 1,219 threads, out of which 1,130 completed, 41 ongoing and 48 (3.9%) unfinished – a good score, given that in most RPGs, unfinished threads are more common than finished ones. We do finish the stories we start, unless exceptional circumstances!

We have passed to July 1720 in our story, but we still have to focus on completing the May and June stories as well. There are new and already ongoing threads which would welcome your participation. We are now in the process of exchanging prisoners between the French Navy and the pirates. The British Navy is investigating a theft. There are popular festivals awaiting more characters to join, both in Tortuga and in Port de Paix, and there is also a big battle, for now involving the pirates, but which will be soon available for the French and British Navy too.

Join our stories and make history in the West Indies BEFORE THE MAST!

Our story "Before the Mast" is approaching the end, with sinking four ships in a doomsday battle and the victorious one half a day afterwards, due to the damages. The survivors' stories are to be told in the next volume of our story, already opened - Caribbean Dawn.

Keep reading there for further updates!
