In the world of Hyperia, where it is all but a wasteland that is arid and dangerous with little drinkable water; The city of Thragg is a melting pot of different races, where four district lords govern their districts under the rule of the Queen. The world wasn't always like this; Long ago, the world was lush and green. However, mortals made a deal with Dragons for their knowledge and understanding of magic. In return, the Dragons wanted to horde kingdoms.

This deal, however, led to terrible bloodshed and greed. Mortals learned that they could harvest the Dragon's bodies for their Magic, while Dragons usurped kings and took over kingdoms. The ordeal even caught the attention of the gods who decided to punish both races. They forced the Dragons to disappear taking their knowledge of magic with them. While leaving the Mortals with only their artifacts; the knowledge of magic would die with the old mages as two centuries would pass. Yet with time comes change; Gossip around Thragg is that Magic has been steadily returning to the artifacts. Could this mean something? Have the Dragons returned? Only time will tell.
