OW is an adult play-by-post rpg with a heavy focus on the darker shades of creative freedom. The world is set in and consists only of a singular city that pulls its' inhabitants in from all over, landing them in an existence saturated in magic.
The site is meant to be mostly self sustainable. We do not concern ourselves with word count and keep a relaxed approach to activity. Members are able to assign their own member group once they finish their character profile, as well as assign their own awards, face claims are automated, as well as i.c. group involvement. Otherworld was built in such a way to feel impossibly vast while maintaining minimal reading material. Our setting is contained within a sprawling city to ensure characters can easily interact with each other.
OW was created with the busy lives of our adult participants in mind so we can focus on the main attraction: enjoyment of creative collaborative story telling.
