Ash and Dust
Original

Post Apocalytptic, semi fantasy, semi sci-fi. Small community, very active.

Ash & Dust is a small and relatively new play by post roleplaying forum. The setting is set fifty-two years after a nuclear war completely devastated the world. Fifty-two years later and humans are still suffering under their harsh reality.

Humans aren't the only ones however. Animals and humans alike have succumb to the radiation, creating mutated creatures in their place.

During the war the governments started testing cross species DNA as they tried to win the war. These creatures were mirthless and soon populated the world with their offspring. Offspring that have mutations, but still manage to hold onto their human side.

They are called Mumans.

Ash & Dust currently focuses on a small town in New Mexico called "The Town", but recently branched out to include roleplay in a second town some ten miles away from The Town, it is called Brownsand.

Dangers lurk in every corner, but life must go on.

Would you survive and prosper? Or will you fall victim to any number of prey.

Old Earth is gone. New Earth is just the beginning.

A&D is a small community of writers, and we wish to keep it this way. We just moved to our new forum location on pro boards. All of our roleplay from the previous board has been moved over in archived threads.

With the expansion of adding in a new town, we are ready to open our doors to a few more writers. We are hoping to bring in 5-10 more individuals that enjoy writing with others.

There is a 5 character limit per town. There is no need/rule to create different profiles for your characters. All of your characters can be written under one account.

We are very active, and most creates tags throughout the day, and several times a day. We are looking for those willing to be very active as well.

There is no word count!

We have rules and character guidelines like most forums, but we are not overly strict. Major plot lines are for the entire forum and everyone is encouraged to join. Not all plots are created by myself, and I am more than happy to help others host plots of their own making.

The roleplay is fluid and you never know what might happen next.

If you are interested, please check out our new forums and read over all of the important threads we have located there.
