Akrasia is set on an alternate earth continent, Argaia, where wolves come in all shapes and sizes (including fantastical mutations); Some are as small as a fox, while others are larger than a wolfhound. Among these strange wolves, are the immortals - the Aegis; the fallen - Tsares; and several bloodlines of mortals.

Each wolf must find their place in this world, where conflicts such as religious belief, bloodline-racism, and the hunt for mystical artifacts can tear friends apart. Meanwhile, there are those that believe the world is nearing its end and fight desperately to strengthen 'the Will of the Gods,' to restore the world to it's proper balance.
