Spirit Of Symphonia

An Original Tales of Symphonia Roleplay

"Once upon a time, there existed a giant tree that was the source of all mana. A war, however, caused this tree to wither away, and a hero's life was sacrificed in order to take its place. Grieving over the loss, the goddess disappeared unto the heavens. The goddess left the angels with this edict: 'You must wake me, for if I should sleep, the world shall be destroyed.' The angels bore the Chosen One, who headed towards the tower that reached up unto the heavens. And that marked the beginning of the regeneration of the world."That has been the tale passed down for generations after the Kharlan War, and any books contradicting the story had long since been destroyed. Or, that is what had been thought. The tale of the Last Regeneration has just ended, and so few even know why it has happened, or the truth of the history that led to it. Yet even so, a strange new group is already pushing hard for a war between both halves of the now united worlds. And even if they didn't have more support beyond their own ranks, they seem to have the resources to carry out their aims as it is.Who are these "Kharlan Generals" that seem to be in control of such deadly soldiers? Why do they keep insisting that they are the sole pride of Sylvarant? Why is it, that at their first opportunity, thousands of years after the end of the first Kharlan War, they want to start another? Regardless of their reasons, it is clear that they hold a great grudge against all of Tethe'alla, and they have the power to make their desires come true. Now they are spreading their propaganda, uniting many of the disjointed people of Sylvarant under a single banner, to lash out against what is unfamiliar to them. Their already unimaginably large army grows by the day, and soon it seems that Sylvarant shall be united as one country once more... But at what cost? Not even the last Chosen and her allies can stop them now. The voices of all who publicly speak against this madness have been silenced. So who will rise up to stop it? And even if they do, will the revival of this ancient war have already sent the world spiraling to its final destruction once more?
