At the beginning of the twenty-first century, the Umbrella Corporation had become the largest commercial entity in the United States, and nine out of every ten homes contain its products. In public, it is the world's leading supplier of computer technology, medical products and healthcare. Unknown, to some of its employees, there are dangerous activities surrounding them.

Massive profits were generated by military technology, genetic experimentation and viral weaponry within the "Hive," a giant underground laboratory within Raccoon City. There was an incident, that released a deadly virus and everybody died within the Hive. Trouble was, they didn’t stay dead, as the T-virus reanimated their bodies and turned them into mindless zombies.

Efforts to keep this devastation under wraps within Raccoon City, have failed horribly, as the rate of infection has reached a global scale. However, hope isn't entirely lost yet, because there are survivors still willing to fight on another day. There are small towns being made to settle down in, as well as having the ship, Arcadia, up and running. Even still, the rumors of disappearing convoys full of people and Wesker's return with a new strain is nothing than soon. What will happen next? That's up for you to decide.
