What ones do you play (if any)? Are any of them multiplayer?

Ingress owns me. Enlightened for life! #HeExtends

I also squeeze in Minion Rush when I have a minute here and there.

This will probably sound sad, but all my games are match 3 or bubble bust such as candy crush, cookie jam... you name it I have it and it's an addiction lol!

I squeeze in some Ingress (Enlightened naturally) when I remember/can get phone signal.

The rest of the time it has to be Tetris I'm afraid. Old school addictive.

It makes me pleased that not only is there another ingress player on the board, but that you're on the right faction.

I love tetris, but when I tried it on touch screen, it just didn't click. Much sad. Need to pull out my ps2 and play it there.

I used to play ingress, but never got into it. Can't wait for Pokemon Go to go live though!

Right now, I'm just playing Shadowrun: Dragonfall director's cut. :D

Out of curiosity, which faction were you with, and did you find the local community? Ingress is best played with a group, especially once you make it to the higher levels. I've made some good friends in the local ingress community. ^_^

Honestly, it wasn't for lack of group as my co-workers got me into it. We were blue though (whatever that was, I don't remember). I just disliked the grind and got bored pretty fast.

Yeah, leveling does get a little grindy, but that's part of the reason I go for the socialization aspect of it. When we do farms around here, we usually get dinner or ice cream with it, or we all hang out after for food and shooting the shit. Though I will admit my tendency to become obsessed with something does help in the day to day fight for portals near home and work.

See, that's the unfortunate part that sucks around here. Downtown Austin? Alllllll the portals. All the residential areas around Austin? Hardly anything. :/ So pretty much the only time I could actually play was at work - which got a little insane with the need to do actual work. xD

I'm hoping they'll have thought about that better when they release Pokemon Go!

I'm not excited for Pokémon Go, partially because I didn't catch the Pokémon bug as a kid, and partially because it may spell neglect for ingress. Some of us are hoping that we'll at least be kept as a test bed for new features, but with Nintendo representing a good chunk of income for the company, we know Pokémon go will be the priority.

LOL. I was in high school when pokemon first released its games in the U.S. I didn't get into it really until I was in college, but I had fun with it. I'm not one to go running towards an RPG of it, but I find the battle system more enjoyable than Ingress, where it's all about having the higher level. That just doesn't appeal to me because of all the effort you went through to do things, just to have someone 4+ levels higher than you run in and destroy it in a matter of minutes.

It sounds like you didn't make it to level 8 before you gave up on ingress. The real fun of the game, socialization aside, is throwing large fields and going to things like anomaly. Until you reach level 8, yeah, your portals will get smashed easily by bigger agents. Heck, even once you're over 8, it's hard to defend a portal unless you're there to deploy on it and replace shields as it's attacked. I know most good communities will help you get leveled to 8 quickly though.

However different games are suited to different people, and I hope Pokémon Go is as enjoyable for you as ingress is for me.

    Oh totally did not. LOL.

I made it to level 5, but just the amount of time I had in comparison to what was needed to level (especially since I couldn't play at home - there were no portals there), it just made everything drag out in the end. And yes, every game is suited to a particular type of player. If the new Pokemon game winds up being too similar to Ingress, I probably won't play it either. xD

I like mobile games I can pick up easily and put down easily if need be. The last one I got really involved with was called Monument Valley - just a very Escher-designed puzzle game.

Currently none. As I said earlier before I get really bored of games very easily. But I did try out The Walking Dead Game, Jurassic Park and Avengers and they seemed pretty cool when it came to graphics and all.

I was playing The Simpsons Tapped Out until it got to the point it basically wanted me to buy things from the in-game store to complete things. I am playing Injustice and Star Wars Rebels - both crazy addictive.

There is nothing wrong with enjoying these games, they can be a useful tool to allow your mind to chill out and process stuff on a subconscious level. I do the same with tetris, and I used to play bejeweled long long ago in the before time.
