A call echoes from the rolling sea of bleached dunes to the derelict ruins beneath the sands. From the spiraling toadstool towers of Fungi Forest to the glassed wilderness or crystals—the deepest depths of the Obsidian Canyon, to the thick blanket of ash coating the volcanic heart. Between this arid world and that of the primordial bosom to the north. Lurks a highway of pastures, where hamlets of bone and ports reside. Beyond that, the virulent swamplands, abundant jungle, misty mountains, and delipidated remains of a prior epoch slumber. Towers of lumber reach to the firmaments while denizens nestle within its verdant-hued branches. Welcome to the dream, and it is that call to adventure that has beckoned you. Our world is one of depth and internal logic. The populace possesses diverse cultures, where even the NPCs are people. This setting, like clay, is yours to mold. A light of hope where everything is earned, nothing is given, and what is merited may no one strip away.

Each roleplay is interwoven, formulating the tapestry that is our collective story. The consequence of actions that formulate ripples, drifting far beyond the RP or the setting where the incident occurred. Here, characters grow due to their in-universe pursuits, and death can be around every corner. Be it a merchant, warrior, wizard, scholar, noble, captain, bandit leader, farmer, courier, or anything in between. Make what you desire, and watch as the setting yields to your struggles. Our world may be dark and Darwinian, yet, it is the melodies we as players forge that glisten within the darkness. So join us, and see what lurks within the sands of time.

What do we offer?

We offer an original universe with a distinctive setting and lore that undergoes a metamorphosis based on player agency. A home where everything is earned, nothing is given. And what is merited, no one will strip, nerf or retcon away—an abode where standards permeate, but not in a superficial sense. We have also been around for some time, established on March 16, 1999. And while we may not be the largest community, we welcome newcomers.

Aside from the aforementioned points, what differentiates us from our competitors is that progression here is rated through in-universe pursuits. Be it wealth, fame, notoriety, or political influence. It must all have been ascertained through the sweat of your character's brow. Want to become a better warrior? Do warrior things. Furthermore, we are an RTK permadeath community.

What are you not?

Simple, to maintain the world's identity, certain things are simply not permitted. Our setting matters more than any OC. Everything restricted is due to the universe and can be thoroughly explained if needed. If you're looking to start strong, wealthy, or famous, you will not likely fit in. If you aspire to drag European concepts into our setting, it is unlikely to work, given the world is alien and didn't follow the same evolutionary path as Europe. We're not a do-what-you-want server, nor is this a place where the lore is background noise.

What is expected of me?

Read the lore. And create someone that can feasibly exist on the planet they inhabit. Aside from that, nothing else besides trying to have fun.
