    Can we have a field for Telegram Messenger on our profiles?

    It's a lightweight free messenger program that offers encryption, a lot of features, and is truly cross platform (they even have a Linux client, which a lot of "cross platform" apps/messengers don't bother with). More information on the program can be found at Telegram.org, but if users set a public user name, they also offer a url that will forward you into the app to message someone, for example telegram.me/deathkitten would reach me.
