We are an intermediate+ fantasy equine roleplay. Come explore the land of Elysium with your fellow equines! Take part in site plots and member quests to advance your character's story.

Elysium is a land unlike any other: it was birthed in the image of the Five Creators, the Firstborns, who brought it and one another into existence to sate their own loneliness and needs for intimacy and kin. Though they are known as many things (Creators, Carpenters, Firstborns) the Five are one in the same, related to one another and all other things through celestial matter and stardust. Each one reflects in the night sky as a constellation, and while they possess the power to drift among stars and a mortal-like form, it isn’t often that they choose to do so.

With the creation of Elysium, a balance was struck among the cosmos. There would be peace and prosperity abound as the first of the mortals were brought into being by way of the Creation Pool and given the responsibility to protect the lands and all within it, procreating and from them came the fantastical equines of today who are all manner of colorful and divine. With the silence and contentment of the Firstborns, Elysium was quiet and peaceful, each corner of the land blooming with a new and vibrant light that came from their dedication to the stars. Those who might tremble at a shadow need only look to the stars to gain strength and confidence, and the constellations and all celestial events surrounding them became pivotal to each horse’s existence.

But something stirs in a dark corner of the night sky, a place where no starlight touches. It teems and seethes in silent, shadowy vengeance and unsettles the beings of Elysium without rhyme or reason as to why. It begins to work its way into places and things with such simplicity that much of it goes unnoticed, but over time the side effects become clear: alliances quiver, friendships shatter, and leaders lose their herds to younger, more darkly focused usurpers. Peace begins to wane. Atop their throne of stardust, the Firstborns keep a wary, watchful eye upon it out of their need to protect their children below them, but it becomes clear with time that even Creators -- all-powerful, all-consuming -- can be unmade. In an act of desperation, the Firstborns wipe the lands in an effort to cleanse it, leaving it open to newcomers but it remains unclear whether this will suffice.

Will you be strong enough to withstand the Darkness, and rise above to stake your claim upon Elysium?
