I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has made RPGfix possible. Without all of you and your wonderful sites, this site wouldn't exist.
I'm writing to inform you that we have plenty of new feature updates planned, and that I'm completely open to suggestions at this point in time. Do you have an idea for the site? Something that'll make it that much more cooler? Share your ideas and watch them get implemented. I want to make RPGfix a better place to hang out at.
With the next site upgrade, we also hope to (finally) implement the RPG Rating system for all of our listings.
I am also going to be looking for some more new site moderators in the near future in order to keep this place running smoothly. So keep us in mind if you're interested. ;)
RPGfix is going to be down temporarily for part of this weekend (11th & 12th) as we sort a couple of things out and work on adding a few new features while refactoring code. Thanks for understanding and we hope to be back up and running soon! :)
Or at least finished enough to start accepting new game listings. So feel free to register and add your RPGs to the site. :) If you have any questions, concerns, or awesome ideas, please share them in the forum.
The latest edition to the site is a shiny new forum. :) It's custom built, so if you come across any weird errors or bugs, please report them. Users are able to both edit and lock their own posts/topics. If you want to see time zone corrected times for the forum, please edit the time zone in your profile.
The site layout has also changed significantly. I'm still messing around with the logo and site branding. I think that is is finally starting to come together.
RPGfix now has Facebook Connect! This means that you can register and login with your Facebook account if you have one. No more having to remember a million and one passwords!
- Go to the Registration page and click on the Facebook Connect image to get started. It'll walk you through the new account creation process. When registering you will be able to set your own username.
- Go to the Login page and click on the Facebook Connect image. There is an option to connect an existing account to your Facebook login.
I'm currently working on putting together a list of resources and tutorials for the site. If there is anything in particular that you would really like to see, give me a shout via the contact form.
Once I have a small collection started, I think that we might soon be ready to open to the public. I'm just putting a few more finishing touches on the browse pages and making the last few minor tweaks to the layout. Ooo... exciting.
The game submission form now supports fandoms. When submitting your game, if you indicate that it is "Licensed Property", another form field will appear where you may enter in the game's specific fandom. For games that span multiple fandoms, please enter "Panfandom" in the fandom field.
There is now a contact page. If you feel ever so inclined, we would love to hear your suggestions and feedback. Every little bit helps. Many of the sites features are still under consideration.
If you head on over to the link page, there's a wallpaper of the site's um... critter cat and bird thing. It's available in both widescreen and fullscreen formats.
Hi and welcome to RPGfix! We're currently in a building phase, so if you've accidentally stumbled upon us, consider yourself lucky. ;)
